Hubbox

With its origins in the Cornish seaside town of St Ives, Hubbox offer American inspired street food and great drinks. They are fiercely proud of their award-winning burgers, made using 11 day dry-aged Cornish rare breed beef. Their hotdogs are made from UK free-range pork and they choose their suppliers based on the provenance of their products. All this adds up to a fantastic menu and amazingly flavourful food.

 

The Challenge

Hubbox have approached the growth of their business in a measured and careful way. Knowing that they wanted to expand but only if the locations were absolutely perfect for them in every way, they needed expert help and guidance to help them understand exactly where to look to for their next restaurants. With ambitious growth plans in a crowded, busy market, it is imperative that every property is fully interrogated to ensure it is fit for purpose and the surrounding population has the right demographic.

Our Insight

It is important to us to understand as much about the business as we possibly can and become, essentially, their property department.  By analysing Hubbox’s model in their existing, successful restaurants and immersing ourselves in their business, we captured exactly what makes Hubbox so great where it is. We then took that information and used it to closely match other locations where there was a similar demographic and geography.

 

The Outcome

Searching out perfectly located properties in the targeted towns, negotiating the leases, engaging with the legal teams, we have worked alongside Hubbox all the way through the process, ensuring them of the best possible outcomes. We have secured a number of exciting properties for the brand and continue to work with them bringing further restaurants to life in perfect locations.
