What information do we collect?

We will collect and store any personal data that you may volunteer by completing the enquiry form contained within this website or registering as a Mystery Shopper/Diner with us. By providing your information you are “opting in” to us storing your data and sending you relevant information. Your data may include your name, gender, contact details, occupation and other personal information volunteered by yourself. We may also keep emails that you have sent to us.

We also collect technical information including your IP [internet protocol] address, your login information, your browser type and version, time zone setting, operating system and platform.

We will collect information about how you came to our website, such as the URL used to land on a specific page, the length of your visit to a particular page and page interaction information [where you clicked on each page to move to the next].

What do we use personal information for?

There are various reasons that we need to collect personal data. For example, we ask you for your contact details for correspondence purposes. Subject to your agreement we may contact you to either provide information about new services or to obtain feedback on our services. In any event we will only ever obtain information from you that is ‘fit for purpose’ and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

If you have registered with us as a Mystery Shopper/Diner, we will use the information that you have provided to us to send you invitations to relevant assignments and to contact you regarding this aspect of our company only.

If you have completed an enquiry form, we will use the information you have provided to us to contact you regarding your enquiry.

We may also process your Personal Data in the course of the use of our services. This is for the purpose of providing our services to you in a professional manner and the performance of a contract between you and us, or taking the steps to enter into a contract between you and us.

Lawful basis of use of Personal Data

There are a number of lawful reasons that we can hold and use your data. The most common basis for our processing of personal data is consent. This means that you have given your consent for us to hold and process your data.

In the case of needing to keep data in order to execute a contract, this can be on the Lawful Basis of both Consent and/or Legitimate Interest.

Who do we share your data with?

Will share your data with our business partners, third party suppliers and clients only for the performance of any contract we enter into with either you or them. We will not share your details with third parties for any marketing purposes.

Basic information will be provided free of charge, however if you require multiple copies or require further services this may be charged for. You will have to provide acceptable ID in order for us to release your Personal Data to you.

If you wish to have your Personal Data removed from our records, please email office@insightretail.com at any time or use the “unsubscribe” link on any of the correspondence that we send to you.

Personal data that we process for any purpose or purposes shall not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes. We may keep an anonymised form of your Personal Data, which no longer refers to you, for statistical purposes without time limits, to the extent that we have a legitimate and lawful interest in doing so.
